Crowler from the brewery into a shaker pint glass.
L: SRM 8 Pours a dull dark butterscotch color with aa firm rocky 1" white head that has very good retention, low carbo, leaves medium-light random sticky lacing.
S: Caramel malts, grains, a hint of yeast, fruity.
T: Taste follows aroma plus citrus fruit, it is lightly tart, lightly bitter and sort of sweet.
F: Smooth, mildly thick heavy-bodied mouthfeel with a medium long slightly drying finish. It has very light grit.
O: A fairly hefty hazy. Deep citrus tastes and is more of a sipper. Some might say that it is intense but I would just call it bold. It is outstanding in its style.

The look is bright murky orange, with a big foamy bright white hairdo. It looks like orange juice. The smell is almost exactly like freshly-squeezed orange juice. When I took this picture, the wind was blowing towards me, and the smell was intense. I really like that smell. The taste is very citrusy. It also does taste like freshly-squeezed orange juice. The can describes this beer as a big aromatic hoppy orange juice bomb. I agree. There is a slight bitterness, but the only taste I perceive is orange juice. The mouthfeel is juicy, thick, and smooth, with minimal carbonation. Overall, I really like this beer!

One Of my all-time favorites and I have tried many New England hazy IPA’s very smooth robust flavor lots of tangerine, orange and with a tad of Grapefruit.

Aroma is sharp citrus, orange, grapefruit, foretelling a biting taste. We'll see.
Look is completely opaque orange, a little dark, capped with a 1 inch thick bubbly and creamy head, leaving thick lacing as it drops down at a moderately rapid pace. Too opaque to see anything going on inside the beer itself.
Feel is soft and smooth.
Taste is very mild, so the biting aroma was a head fake. Taste is pretty simple: orange, perhaps citrus related to orange such as tangerines, but nothing much beyond that. After the initial taste, there is a hint of something like the sharp aroma, perhaps slight hop burn, but then it just goes away.
The finish is pretty much just not there. There is a weak lingering astringency on the mouth, but calling it that runs the risk of overstating it. It ends a bit on the sweet side. Frankly, I don't understand the raves this beer is getting. While not quite as bland and boring as the Surly Mosh Pit, it is definitely living in that neighborhood.

If Hard Orange Juice is what you're looking for, look no further.
Some are quick to call all very-hazy, citra hop-focused IPA's "orange juice", but no. This one actually lacks hop flavor. It doesn't even taste like an abundance of citra hops, it just tastes like orange juice that someone spiked with alcohol. It has a very SWEETENED kinda taste. Strong dislike, and I am crazy for the hazy. This is a joke, not worth the price at all. If this were the most mainstream basic-bitch version of a hazy IPA, going for about $7/6-pack, I'd understand it. But no, you'll realize this price-point is completely uncalled for when you taste what a childish beer this is. Just pour some gin in your orange juice and save the money.

Had on tap. Beautiful neon orange hazy body with a finger of white foam, catches light well. Good hops on the nose with lush sweet orange, peach, and clementine. Taste and feel do well to still have bitter hop sharpness mixed in with the creamy and sweet fruits. Add to the mixture grapefruit and pine. My one qualm is it doesn't have much depth, seen best in the finish, it just kind of stops without an ipa crescendo, maybe too sweet for it, I don't know. Still, this is a fad worth embracing
