Deep black with a khaki head. Smell is sweet with a nice roast coffee. The mouthfeel is very thin and there's a very odd note to the sweetness. It's way too sweet overall and leaves an unpleasantness behind.

Pours a deep jet black with tan lacy head. Roasty and dark chocolate aroma. Thick syrupy body with notes of coffee and milk chocolate. Nice sweet finish.

On tap at Aslin. Nice roasted coffee notes from the aroma. Taste is overly sweet. Like sweeter than a Pepsi. I don't know what they were thinking with this one. I had a 5 oz. pour and I could barely finish it. Thin mouthfeel. I have no idea how anyone rated this thing highly.

On tap at Aslin. Looks like a solid imperial stout. Great aroma of roasted malt, some coffee notes. Taste largely follows but finishes sweeter than desired. Mouthfeel/body very good for the style. Another solid offering from a brewery old less than 1 year.
