This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like almond syrup, chocolate fudge, light coffee, vanilla, and caramel.
Like basically all Aslin stouts, this is thick, chewy, and mega-sweet. There's a touch of nutty and caramelly coffee, along with big vanilla, and candied fudge. The almond is probably the dominant flavor. Due to even heavier duty sweetness than usual, this isn't my favorite Aslin stout.
This is thick, and very creamy, with no booziness whatsoever, as is tradition with Aslin stouts.
I'm happy to have tried this one, but it's a touch lacking.

Drank from a 1 pint (16 fl.oz.) can purchased at Aslin Beer Company, Herndon, VA
Served in a teku
The beer poured nearly pitch black and uber viscous, like used motor oil. There was no head nor any lacing. In the glass, the liquid looked even more insanely thick and syrupy.
The aroma was very impressive. Mocha notes dominated. Loads of bakers chocolate and espresso. Really rich and robust. Big roasted malt presence. Slightly smoky. Some vanilla was apparent as well. Touch of lactose-like milkiness. Sweet but not excessively so. Hint of almond. As the beer sat, the chocolate notes intensified and turned sweeter. Chocolate fudge came to mind.
The flavor profile was similar to the nose. Super malty and robust on the front end. Huge roasted malt notes. Lots of brown sugar sweetness. Dark chocolate was also apparent. Some vanilla and lactose came through as well. Subtle almond and/or hazelnut notes too. More robust, deeply roasted malts on the back end. The beer finished with an espresso-like bitterness and a touch of lingering char. There was a subtle boozy warmth but much less than expected given the beer’s insanely high ABV.
Really intense mouthfeel. Rich, creamy and completely full bodied. The beer contained a fine, moderate effervescence that gave the liquid a terrific frothiness on the palate.
Buongiorno is an intense dessert-style stout that reminded me a lot of the beers in Evil Twin’s “Biscotti Break” series. At only $8 a can, however, this is a much more affordable option.

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of tan head that doesn't stick around long.
Chocolate and vanilla are the dominant aromas. I get some caramel, too.
The taste is dessert-like. It has caramel and vanilla flavor up front. I get some dark chocolate undertones. There is even a little coffee in the finish.
Full bodied with a thick, syrupy mouthfeel
If you like a thick, sweet, dessert stout with a high abv, this beer is for you.

Super thick and cloyingly sweet. Tons of chocolate, vanilla, almonds and coffee both in the nose and taste. Though sweet it has an acrid bitterness from the coffee. Pretty decent beer.
