This is a different beer than anything I have ever tasted. Pours a bright orange hazy color with pillowy head. Nose is full of rosemary. Flavor had hints of citrus,
vanilla, and a soft rosemary bitter finish. Excited to see what other experiments these guys will be trying!

Im honestly shocked how much i liked this beer. I had to do a double take when I saw it released. I thought to myself, it must be a saison or another style. But an IPA? No way. The NOSE on this beer is bonkers. It smells like a FRESHLY picked sprig of rosemary run under your nose. Insane. Ok, so it smells like rosemary, thats good....but how will it taste? The rosemary serves as a great floral piney element you get from some NW IPAs infused into this amazing juice bomb IPA. The vanilla was fairly subtle to me and i got it on the back end. Smoothed out the finish. If you could take a picture of my face when I first sipped this, I would have had cartoon eyes bug out of my head like WIle E. Coyote. I totally understand it wont be everyones cup of tea, but I applaud these guys for going out of the box and, in my mind, hit a home run

On tap at brewery:
IPA with rosemary and vanilla, where the vanilla comes through too much for me.
Looks a muddy yellow-orange with a soapy head - film on top and bubbles at edge.
Nose is nice combination of citrusy orange and the rosemary. If I search for it, the vanilla can be detected, but it seems to add a floral bouquet like nature to the nose in general.
Taste starts on nicely, lightly bitter with herbal notes accentuated by the rosemary. The vanilla hits early mid taste and maybe thanks to the cleaner base (than say vanilla stouts), grabs a larger portion of the brew than I'd like. The vanilla fades as a mildly piney bitterness grows towards the end. Feel is decent-medium light body and nice level of carbonation.
I would like to try this beer sans vanilla, I think I'd enjoy it considerably more.

The rosemary is very prevalent on the nose... about all I can detect. The vanilla kicks in as it warms up a bit which is nice with the juiciness of the beer. I'm not completely sure, in the end, that it all ties together incredibly cohesively but there is nothing that makes me dislike it.
