5 oz pour at brewery 7/14/16.
L pitch dark, tiny ring, not much else
S shockingly coffee, raspberry, roasted caramel malts, and vanilla.
T solid. Raspberry up front, coffee and malts come right in after, vanilla kicks in late. no alcohol burn at 10%. impressive.
F medium bodied light to medium carbonation solid construction and balance. a very good stout and pretty drinkable until it hits you, hence the name
O they seem to better with the non-dairy stouts. this is quite good.

Admittedly I've found the Deceiver variants overrated across the board thus far, but this may be my favorite one yet. It's dessert in a glass, and you really don't need much of it, but the raspberry flavors work very nicely with the sweet base.

At the brewery.
(L) The color was almost black. Great residual lacing.
(A) Smell was chocolate roasty raspberry.
(T) Taste follows aroma. Raspberry up front, vanilla in the back.
(F) Full bodied and rich.
A little too sweet for my tastes, much prefer the original Deceiver. Great variant nonetheless. Nothing tasted fake.

Liquid German Forest Cake. This is out of control. No artificial flavors present.
This is a sincere dessert erection flying into a vortex of orgasmic flavor.
Juicy.
