The beer pours a nice white small bubbly white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a cloudy murky yellow that strongly resembles the meat from a pear. It looks nice and fairly refreshing; perfect for the beer style.
The smell and taste are both wonderful and are actually the same in terms of visible notes and intensity. The notes are a nice peach and ginger taste that strongly resemble carbonated peach juice with ginger. While that might note be the best description, it actually works and pretty good. The tart normally associated with the style is light but still strong enough to contrast with the sweet pear and ginger notes. While the intensity is the same in both the smell and the taste, the notes seem to work better in the taste than in the smell.
The feel is very good. It has a slight acidity to it that is very nice since it isn't too intense. The carbonation is also gives it a nice bite that reminds you of seltzer water and leaves a slightly dry but still sticky finish.
Overall, this is a fantastic brew and worth a trip to the brewery on a hot day or cracking a crowler open next to the pool. It's a good balanced beer that allows allows all of its notes to shine without one dominating the other. Furthermore, in most beers, the smell and taste usually have some variance in the intensity of the notes or the notes that appear, but that does not happen here. Essentially, what you smell is what you taste and that alone earns this beer a high mark.

Poured from a crowler into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, pale, straw yellow coloring with a tall, foamy, white head that quickly settles out. Aromas of solid ginger, blending nicely with the sticky sugary sweet notes, as well as tart and sour overtones. Roasted highlights, with subtle sweet pear characteristics. Pretty layered aroma profile. Flavors are richly sweet and deep forward, heavy on the pear characteristics, with some sugary sweet highlights, almost bordering on a soda-like feel. The ginger spice is more mild than in the nose, and works well as an accent to the rich pear notes. The sourness becomes a bit of an accent, as well, remaining subdued. The body is smooth and light, with a subtly sour aftertaste of pear, and the ginger spice starting to come forward a little more strongly. The finish is smooth, tart, and dry. Very refreshing, incredibly drinkable beer. Great summer brew!

32 oz crowler purchased 7/14/16. Poured into Carton idontknowwhattocallit glass.
L: Big foamy head at first but it dissolves quickly, leaving nothing. Beer is a pale yellow, like pear juice!
S: Mmmm nice. Pear up front with a little bit of ginger (a spice you have to be careful with), some wheat malt and yeast.
T: Big pear up front with some yeasty sourness, but not much. Ginger behind after malt. Rightly spiced, nothing out of whack.
F: Light bodied, light to medium carbonation, good balance. Very crisp and refreshing, very nice summer beer. Could drink this all day.
O: Aslin, you amazing bastards!
