This is my second gose from Aslin with apricots and I haven't been a fan of either. There is a really weird honey-like flavor that totally ruins it. It looks decent, reddish-purpose, and has okay berry flavors but the honey sweetness is a deal-killer.

Can't say I really enjoyed this beer greatly, but it can't be because I'm not a big gose fan as the salinity is not there. I think it's because it's very fruit forward, and very tart - and perhaps I'm just not digging these particular fruits as I normally enjoy most lambics too. Blackberries can sometimes be a little strong for my palate when they're not overly sweet, so I'm going to call it at that. I think I might have preferred it more if the fruit was more muted, but then again, I guess then it would have been a different beer. Other than that - the look, smell and mouthfeel are all pretty solid.

32 oz crowler. Grape colored, rubbery aroma. Nice blackberry flavor.

Crowler shared by Matthew. Thanks man!
Bright ruby body with a thin pink collar. Aromas of blackberry right up front, followed by alcohol, bread. Stone fruit (apricot) emerges in the flavor. Mild puckering sensation. Light sweetness. Pretty good.
