1 pint can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours plum colored and is topped with several inches of beige head that leaves no lacing.
Raspberry smell up front. Then I get earthy and vegetal aromas with a pleasant tart aroma.
Tart up front. Raspberry through the middle. Then a tart finish.
Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel
This is a nice sour IPA. There are no over the top flavors, but there were enough to make it enjoyable.

This is odd. Like another review has said, I definitely get some "cat litter" or "cat pissy" type aroma, on top of faint berry. It is definitive for me. It's almost like a mix of "catty" hops and barnyard funk, and maybe it just doesn't jive well together. It's hard for me to pinpoint why I'm getting this aroma, is it the funk? The hops? Both? What looks like a beautiful fruited wild ale or berliner, doesn't smell like one. I'm not sure how "wild" they let this one get, but the smell is distinct, for me. I absolutely love wild ales, but this is not that pleasant funk I'm used to with the typical brett strains, and the tartness is more like a Berliner. It's not in the flavor that much, but you can't help but get a hint of it, and not in a good way. After a couple more cans, I've decided I absolutely hate this beer.

16oz can poured into a goblet
L - Vibrant purple/red hybrid with a small amount of lace lingering
S - First it was fruity/yeasty but developed into a god-awful cat litter smell. Cannot get it out of my head, so it takes a big hit here.
T - Tangy blackberries with citra hops making it really smooth and fruity
F - Full-bodied flavor and very tasty with good carbonation
O - This would be my favorite sour from Aslin if it weren't for the nose. Oh well
