Pisghetti Western is an imperial stout conditioned on chocolate, hazelnuts, coffee, vanilla, and a touch of cinnamon. Our inspiration for this beer was a Nutella-stuffed churro!

On draft. Pours very flat. Dark. Alcohol legs. Aroma- chocolate, vanilla, little coffee. A little peanut butter. Very sweet. Taste- coffee heavy. Chocolate. Just a hint of cinnamon. Even a little lemon. Mouthfeel is smooth a little wet and velvety. Not fudge. Overall- good tasting beer. Got a Half pour which is about the perfect amount of it. Alcohol doesn’t really come through a lot. So pretty nice dessert beer.

Can:
A pour that isn’t devoid of head yields a beer that is. Thick, slick, oily pour seems typical of these sweet Aslin high gravity beers.
Nose mixes all that is promised from the additions: chocolate base (influenced by attenuation and vanilla) with a dark roast coffee and nutty notes competing forcefully. The nuttiness sort of stands out, nicely.
Taste falls into a typical Aslin big stout and seems to lose or significantly mute the nice scents. Sweet roasted malts (emphasis on first adjective), vanilla, a bit of nuttiness - chocolate brownie comes to mind. Thick, full bodied feel with a hint of bite that might be the promised cinnamon, knowing these sweet offerings from Aslin hide their ABV well.
For this or almost any Aslin high-ABV stout, expect a truly dessert beer. This one has more in the nose and a more bland taste, but can serve as an after dinner sipper fairly well.

Pours very viscous black oil, with a dark brown head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate dominate the nose. Mouthfeel is tremendous - thick, silky, with a pleasant coating on the tongue. Exceptional! Taste - coffee is present, hazelnut shows prominently as it warms, chocolate flavors all over the place. Overall - this beer was excellent in delighting all of my senses. The taste, the finish, the mouthfeel, and the aromas really contributed to the rating.
