El Frutero is a Sour Ale w/ mango, lime, habanero, & salt. This beer is the brain child of our brewer and his girlfriend, Blake & Clarise, and is made to mimic the end of one of their first dates - getting a snack from their local Paletero man! This beer tastes like a mango margarita with a hint of spice!

Appearance: Arrives golden colored with a slight haze and capped by a finger of foam; not much retention and a few shards linger
Smell: Mango and sour wheat tones
Taste: Sour wheat forward with the mango developing; a hint of salt and a sour finish; over time some heat from the habanero builds but doesn't overpower
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: We balanced with a very good fruit profile and just enough salt and heat to complement the fruit and sour tones

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a hazy orange color with a white head that dissipates quickly.
S - Smells sour.
T - Tastes of mango with a peppery burn on the finish.
F - Medium body and carbonation.
O - This would be a great summer beer.
