A: Pours up an opaque, pale gold with a sudsy, three finger, white head, good retention. Looks to be about the color of mango juice, very slightly muddy in color, but in a pleasant way.
S: Immediate tropical fruit, exactly what you want from this style, incredibly juicy, but with minimal cheesiness like you often find with beers like this, which I like, but don’t miss here. Melon, Pineapple, and a lot of Mango. Like a smoothie. A bit of acidity that hits in a very similar way to an orange juice.
T: Much more cheesiness and bitterness right off than you would expect, not extremely cheesy or bitter, just more than you would think given the nose. The pineapple definitely comes through right off, and it is definitely a deeply juicy beer, but it has a light, almost spritzy finish. This beer is sweet, but not overly, and I think it’s a bit more balanced than NEIPAs often are.
M: Very full mouth, but the carbonation does cut through and save the day from it becoming like milk. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about the fullness of body, but the carbonation is needed to make it work well, and it works well here.
O: First Aslin Beer. More or less what I expected. Very good beer. What surprised me: More bitterness than I expected, which is fine. What Didn’t surprise me: The general NEIPA vibe. I think if you buy this, having any idea what it is and what these guys are known for, you will be pleased but not surprised. Solid. Truly. But I must say. At a point I think NEIPA’s excellent though they may be, run together for me. There are differences, but they truly get marginal at a certain quality level.

Can. Aslin has been fairly available in my area, to my enjoyment. They do (D)IPAs better than so many others. This one again looks the part. Not their haziest but still right in line visually. Nice, thick, white head to boot. Their beers are consistently aromatic. This one has a bit of earth and dankness to it. To me, I get Southern Hemisphere hops. Flavor is some sort of New Zealand/Aussie hop varietal if I were to guess. Melon, mango, earth, greens a bit of white grape. Booze hidden well and this isn't too damp. Has a bit of dryness; not a cream-bomb. Another recommendable offering from Aslin.

16oz can poured into a snifter
Pours a hazy golden orange with a one-finger foamy white head, decent retention. Smells of zesty grapefruit, tangerine, pine, melon and mango. Tastes is juicy orange dominant up front, followed by some pithy and zest grapefruit, kiwi, mango, green melon, grass and mint to close it out. Mouthfeel is medium carbonation with a creamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish

Pours cloudy yellow with two inches of rocky white fluff. Loads of ropey lacework and persistent retention. Ripe, juicy nose with peach, pear, pineapple, and grapefruit. Medium bodied with a thinnish mouthfeel. Peach, pineapple, and pear on the palate. Finishes with lingering tropicals, and minimal malt or bitterness.

Can:
Dried apricot to burnt orange opaque body with a modest head that is still able to provide sheets of lace (etched glass)
Nose is light, but does have some rind, the ripe tropical variety, grain bread and grass. Taste opens with a sweet juiciness that turns nicely bitter before mid-taste. Guava, tangerine, and watered down pineapple in the juice; skin, grass, and grain/oat on the bitter side. A sweetness returned in the end, bringing a softness from the thickness of the brew.
A pretty decent juicy beverage that has some countering bitterness. I think if the back end sweet note were less, it'd be be a little more enjoyable to me, even if it came at the cost of some feel.
