No Raisins is brewed by Scott and is an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Stout with Cocoa Nibs, Cinnamon, & Vanilla. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are Scott's favorite but ever since he was a little boy his mom ALWAYS put Raisins in them. Scott being the good little boy never had the nerve to tell his mom, but now as an adult Scott gets his cookies and his beer the way he wants! No Raisins is Scott's ode to his favorite cookie, maybe now his mom will get the hint!

1 pint can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves decent lacing.
The aroma is chocolate and cocoa. I get hints of vanilla but no cinnamon.
This is a chocolate bomb. I get milk and dark chocolate flavors galore. If I use my imagination I think I get a little cinnamon.
Full bodied with a smooth, slick mouthfeel
It's a good chocolate stout.

16 oz. can from late November 2018. Poured into Kane chalice and allowed to warm.
L: Dark black. Less than 1F light tan head with no retention, very thin ring.
S: Good shots of vanilla and cocoa, with a definite oatmeal cookie vibe.
T; Follows nose, with roasty malts coming in from middle to end. Very good taste to it all. ABV well-hidden.
F: Medium-body, low carbonation, but there. Good construction and balance. Definitely not as sweet as it could be, glad they dialed that back and didn't go for molasses or something. Well-balanced.
O: Definitely accomplishes what it sets out to do. Nicely done.

The beer pours a nice brown foamy head that dissipates fairly quickly after lingering around for a little bit. The beer itself is a very nice dark chocolate brown with a bit of a gooey texture to it.
The smell is good. It has a nice lightly bitter cocoa note and a bit of light vanilla and a very tiny hint of cinnamon to it.
The taste is pretty good. It has as decent dominant cocoa note with a mix of a bitter hop note and light vanilla with a tiny bit of cinnamon in the finish.
The feel is good. It has a heavy body but feels fairly thin with a nice biting carbonation to it.
Overall, worth getting.
