I’m not a serious reviewer, but if you love the idea of blueberries in your stout, you will not be disappointed.

16 oz. can from Black Friday release. Poured into Kane goblet.
L: Black with a 1F tan head with OK persistence, leaving a bit of tan lacing and a cap and ring.
S: Surprisingly the blueberries come through clearly through the coffee, which definitely is there in the background, along with the roasted malts.
T: Creamy blueberry coffee. That's what we've got here. Berries really come out nicely. Coffee in there, and at the right proportion. Finish is a tad bitter, but about what you would expect to match a blueberry/coffee pairing. ABV incredibly well-hidden.
F: Full-bodied, not much in the way of carbonation. Matching fruit to coffee isn't the easiest thing in the world, so nice job here on construction and balance. I think maybe it could have been more to the sweet side, but this is a minor nitpick. High marks on hiding the ABV as well, though drink enough of this and you'll find it.
O: My first of the six Black Friday stouts from Aslin. Good start.

The beer pours a nice brown and creamy head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a delicious looking chocolate black with a good gooey like texture to it.
The smell sis very good. It has a good mix of blueberry notes with the darker and more roasted coffee being the slightly stronger note. The sweet chocolate is there but gets lost in the mix.
The taste is pretty good. The beer has the same notes as the smell but the blueberry is a bit more prominent this time. The toast comes out in the finish.
The feel is good. It has a heavy but creamy and silky body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall, this was a definitely tantalizing and delightful beer. The flavorful and smell are especially notable.
