look: Like the other Black Friday variants I've had, inky dark, no highlights at all when held too light. Slight tan head on the pour than recedes to wisps.

taste: much like the nose with the vanilla strong in the finish.
Damn, these Black Friday stouts are good.

Overall - Wow this is a very well done stout, hits all the marks super impressed how smooth and rich this is and no alcohol coming through at all.

16 oz. can from Black Friday release. Poured into Aslin Teku glass and allowed to warm.
L: Like with the others of this line, 1F light tan head with poor retention. Beer is dark black.
S: Very faint vanilla and cocoa notes. Coffee seems to have taken a ganja break. All roasted malts otherwise. Surprised it faded this quickly, if that is what happened.
T: Cocoa and roasted malts, with the faintest of vanilla. Some coffee does come in midpalate. ABV not very evident, as always, to Aslin's everlasting credit.
F: Full-bodied, light carbonation. This one could have been constructed better. Balance is OK.
O: Expected a yuge chocolate vanilla sensation here and got...less so. It's still very good, of course.

The beer pours a nice head that dissipates very quickly and doesn't leave anything behind. The beer itself is a dark chocolate black with a nice chocolate syrup like texture to it.
The smell is good. It is mostly a good mix of a sweet cocoa and vanilla note. The coffee note is a bit light compared to the other notes.
The taste is very good. It has a delicious mix of sweet coca and vanilla that add a good contrast to the bitter chocolate coffee notes.
The feel is good. It has a heavy body with a nice syrupy note to it. There is a very light almost non-existent carbonation to it.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer even though some of the other ones are a bit more interesting.
