The beer pours almost no head regardless of how hard the pour is. The beer itself is a good and syrupy looking dark chocolate brown with a lighter brown around around the inside of the glass.
The smell is pretty good. It has a strong peanut butter nose upfront with some light maple syrup that mixes really well with it. The coffee note is pretty light.
The taste is pretty good. It has a nice strong peanut butter note with clear maple syrup notes a slight bit of coffee that gets covered up by the other two notes.
The feel is good. It's a heavy bodied beer that is surprisingly very drinkable and slightly syrupy. There is also a slight burn in the finish.
Overall, this was a pretty solid beer that is definitely worth trading for. It's a bit heavy for spring but perfect for cold days.
