Pours a luminescent wheat gold with a nice white head that collapses but then retains the last millimeter or two throughout.
Smells almost like a saison. I get lemon, and some floral notes with... IDK... Sticks?
Bright flavors with lemon, fresh oak... I'm trying to figure out if I'd know this was a lager if it wasn't labeled. Maybe in the after taste it comes through the most.
Light carbonation keeps with the brightness present in the nose and taste. I wouldn't say it is a thin mouthfeel, but nice and soft. Easy to drink and refreshing. Pretty solid beer , especially in the right situation, but tough to justify the cost of this one .
