Sour ale with raspberries, lemon, toasted coconut, vanilla and milk sugar.
Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a snulip glass, this beer pours out murky and pomegranate in color with brighter highlights. It forms a pinky width of sea foam pink crown that dissipates within a minute, leaving only an island of mist.
The nose brings a very beautiful fruit acidity; natural. Raspberries, lemon, other berries. Almost a jammy presence.
The taste brings in a quick touch of coconut before turning to lemons and raspberries. It then goes back to the toasted coconut layer for a finish. The coconut is balanced and not fighting the other layers of fruit. There is a warheads candy like presence. The vanilla shows up slightly at the end.
The feel is a balanced, natural, fruit like tartness.
Overall, this is damn good.
