500 ml bottle into a snifter. 2022 release, had 5/19/23.
Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with no head and no lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, coconut, oak, blueberries, light bourbon and chocolate, a little leather. Pretty much the same flavors: bourbon, coffee, coconut, chocolate, malt, a little oak, blueberries as it warms. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Delicious. All the add- ins show well, the chocolate maybe less so, and the barrels show best when it’s fully warmed. Solid from top to bottom.

This one is the real deal - balanced flavor despite an extreme abv! Look and feel are everything you would expect from an imperial stout. Definitely one to look for if you are a fan of the style (I am)!
