The beer pours very little head while the beer itself is a dark chocolate black with a slightly hefty texture that resembles a thinned out melted cocoa.
The smell is good. It has a strong cocoa note with roasted malt notes that strongly resemble espresso. The red grapes and wine notes are slight and come out in the finish. The red grape note is a bit sweet with a tiny bit of oak.
The taste is roughly the same in terms of the notes that come out. The wine notes are a bit more strong and come out earlier to make a more interesting beer. The red wine notes are a good red grape with a slight tannin and alcohol note that mixes fantastically with the cocoa notes. It still finishes with a espresso note.
The feel is good. It has a heavy body that is silky and smooth with very little carbonation.
Overall, it's a good stout with a delicious mix of wine and chocolate notes that works well.

L - Pitch black with a very thin dark tan head that dissipates quickly leaving behind no real lacing to speak of.
S - Tons of rich chocolate and roasted malts as well as some espresso notes - very good smelling beer.
T - Follows the nose: tons of rich chocolate up front and throughout along with roasted malt and espresso notes - slight hints of red wine on the very back end of the palate
F - Medium to full bodied with a light amount of carbonation. Smooth, silky, rich.
O - A fantastic imperial stout with some amazing chocolate flavors.
