Pours black with a finger and a half of khaki-tan foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is coffee and vanilla bean ripping right off the front. Roasty, toasty malts along with toffee, caramel, and sly bourbon fill up the rest of the nose. Bourbon isn't very hot, offering up just enough heat to wrap up the nose nicely. Flavor profile is vanilla bean first, with coffee second. Both are big and bold, and are followed up by toffee, raisins, chocolate, and caramel. It's sugary and sweet thru and thru. A dash of bourbon swells up at the finale, but it's brief. Roasty, toasty malts add some balance, but are more there just for support than anything else. Mouth feel is creamy with a medium-thick consistency. Overall, bold stout with ripe notes of vanilla bean and coffee. This bottle has about a year on it, so it's possible that the coffee has faded slightly in comparison to the vanilla bean - which is still very much prominent.

Like, I woke up and I wanted. Can you consider that? I woke up in a dream. Realize me. Drink and end it. Can I? Vanilla like a Halloween weekend. Do you believe it? Let’s go as I drink. Let’s go as I dream. I’m out.

The beer pours very little head to the point where a hard pour does not yield much. The beer itself is a much much darker brown that goes into a good combination of black coffee color but chocolate syrup thickness.
The smell is pretty good with strong and intense notes of a chocolate cocoa note and light bitter coffee notes followed by a slight sweet vanilla note in the finish. Surprisingly, the bourbon is very well hidden.
The taste is phenomenal. It has a good blend of lightly bitter and chocolate coffee notes with a good strong sweeter cocoa that mixes well with a sweet vanilla note. The finish is a good mix of bitter coffee notes, a light chocolate, and vanilla with a hint of bourbon. Other than that, the bourbon is not really there.
The feel is good. It has as very heavy body and fairly thick like melted chocolate feel to it. The carbonation is very light and tingling but still pretty good.
Overall, this is definitely a very good stout and on fire.
