This is one incredibly tasty sour ale, and the combo of vanilla and the red berries really put this jawn over the edge for me. Potent sweet, sticky nose, excellent lacing for the moderate body, and a gorgeous pink hue make this an excellent sour ale gift for your latest partner (you serial dater, you!), or yourself if you’re into it.
Fans of brewers like 450 North and Pennsylvania’s own Imprint Beer Co.

Pour yields and active fingers worth of light khaki colored froth with a pinkish tinge that dissipates rather quickly... Color is peachy and some moderate paced carbonation can be seen rising throughout... Nose of vanilla, raspberry and danish... Pleasant, unique and inviting... Palate is a mirror of the nose but there is some added complexity from the dragon fruit... Feel is medium and smooth with a bit of prickly carbonation... Outstanding and highly enjoyable brew...

Appearance - Pours opaque and fucshia in color, with a half finger pink head that fizzes away quickly like soda, leaving a barren surface. No lacing.

Smell - Tart, fruity aroma of raspberry and lesser dragonfruit. Underlying vanilla sweetness.

Taste - Follows the nose. Initial burst of raspberry fruit tartness, with lesser dragonfruit, and then some vanilla sweetness to round it off a bit. Almost some graham crackery undertones as well, especially near the finish. Aftertaste lingers with tart, sharp raspberry.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, mostly dry finish.

Overall - Really nice fruited kettle sour. The addition of vanilla really plays nicely off the dragonfruit and raspberry tartness. Not terribly complex, but nicely balanced and makes for a nice sipper on a hot summer evening.
