A friend picked up a four pack from one of the Aslin outposts and delivered it to me 5-31-23. Canning date of 5-8-23; consumed can #1 for review 6-11-23.
Beer poured deep orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose has light traces citrus and tropical hops.
Taste is a huge malt base that integrates citrus and tropical hops nicely. Finishes with a faint pine prickliness to balance; 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is full bodied and so old school smooth.
Overall an outsized TIPA that drinks old school DIPA style. Definitely fun to try!

Bronze gold color, cloudy, mild head and lacing, particulates. Dank, malty, slightly citrusy scents. Taste is citrusy, herbal, tangy, weedy, and dank, a bit malty. Extremely deceptive alcohol presence, clean, mouth watering finish, big bodied. Excellent.

Hazy orange body with a finger of white foam. Faint aromas of melon rind, grapefruit pith, orange slices, dank earthy dry hops. Taste is much more potent, also more complex adding herbal hops, papaya, lychee, and a hint of onion and weed. Hoppy and airy while still bringing some juice, soft and bright.

Great IPA and I can’t believe how high the ABV is on this beer. Drinks like a typical 8-9% IPA.very well done.
