This beer is pretty amazing. Strawberry in the nose, pretty thick mouthfell. Reasonably sweet, roasty stout with strawberry in the end with keeps lingering. 16.5% ABV which is hardly noticable.

The beer pours a brown bubbly foam head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a syrup like dark chocolate black. It looks nice and has a slightly syrupy texture to it. It looks good but nothing super and overly impressive.
The smell is fantastic. It has rotating smell of vanilla, chocolate, and freeze dried strawberries. The chocolate is a nice and bittersweet chocolate cocoa. The bourbon was well-hidden but the rye adds a nice slight spice note that complements the sweeter notes.
The taste is pretty good. The three notes rotate through cocoa chocolate, sweet vanilla, and freeze dried strawberries. The main difference is that the bourbon notes come out while the rye notes are hidden.
The feel is good. It has a heavy body with a bit of thin feeling to it. The carbonation is fairly light but there.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer and one worth getting even though the barrel lights are fairly light compared to other similar beers.
