Dark reddish-black with no head, remaining still and fluid despite an aggressive pour and vigorous swirl.
Surprisingly hot yet peanut butter-forward, the banana adds a fruity sweetness without a ton of banana character, which only seems to amplify the boozy heat, subsequently compounding the sweet aftertaste.
I was hoping for more definitive union of PB-banana unctuousness.

L - Pitch, opaque black with an oil like appearance with little to no head - the little that appears is dark brown.
S - Sweet bourbon and peanut butter on the nose as well as chocolate and bananas
T - Peanut butter is the dominant flavor, but it's intermixed incredibly well with chocolate and bananas as well as vanilla, toffee, molasses, and sweet bourbon. Slight coffee and some oak
F - Full bodied with a light to moderate amount of carbonation. Thick and silky.
O - Incredible. The flavors are full and present, the alcohol is well hidden for 16.5%. This is an incredible bourbon barrel stout.

The beer pours a nice but light tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a dark chocolate black whose texture seems to have a bit of heft to it along with a nice syrupy texture to it.
The smell is pretty good. It has a fairly strong peanut butter note that dominates but doesn't necessarily overwhelm the other notes. It has a good chocolate around the edges while the marshmallows give it a good sweetness that sometimes gets hidden. The banana is extremely light and gets hidden very well. Other than that, the smell has the overall appearance of a s'more.
The taste is absolutely indulgent. The main notes consist of the same as the smell but that the peanut butter is a bit more subdued until the finish. The marshmallow comes right up front riding on top of the peanut butter. The banana comes out a bit more when it warms up towards the finish and makes a nice bridge to the chocolate and peanut butter.
The feel is pretty good. It has a fairly heavy body and a thick texture to it with a light acidity in the finish.
Overall, this was a fairly indulgent beer and extremely delicious. The brewery definitely chose the right adjuncts for this one.
