The Fragile Kind is hopped with Saaz, and has a clear pale color with a cloud-like head. The aroma is clean with a rich sense of malt and spice. Flavor follows the nose with a light-to-medium hop presence. The finish is crisp and clean!

The pour was honey gold in color and either unfiltered or a very light haze. The head was a good 2 fingers of near white foam which settled quickly.
The aroma was slight biscuit malts and a touch or spice, like black pepper. Don't know why that works in a beer, but it does for me.
the taste follows, with the addition of some very faint grassy herbal hops, or what I assumed were hops. But malts definitely take the lead here.
The feel perplexed me; it wasn't bad in any way, just not a crisp texture, more soft than crisp. For most ales, I'd rate that near ideal, but for this, not so much. Didn't spoil the drink for me though!
OA, glad I tried it, for the price point I probably won't return too frequently.

On tap in Alexandria.
Pale gold, delicate white head with some big bubbles and draped lacing.
Big pilsner malt notes. Kind of soft nose with all the pils characteristics, but none of the crisp, hard edges.
Bready, lots of pils malt, very clean. Nice medium-high bitterness that makes it bitingly refreshing.
Love the body on this. Full, but light. Great biting medium carbonation.
Best beer I’ve had from Aslin so far.

A good, solid Pilsner. Smooth and drinkable, just bitter enough, notes of fruity hops, a very pleasant aftertaste and a bitter echo at the back of the tongue. It's got slightly more heft to it than what you might be looking for in a quaffable summer pils, but that's not to its discredit. It's good.

From the can, it pours a nice ever so slightly hazy golden yellow color with a nice white head that lasts a while and leaves lacing. In the nose, it is pleasantly herbal. In the mouth, it is mildly pilsner bitter with a lingering slight bitterness that enhances the overall experience. Nice!

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left lots of small specks of bubbles on the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grassy and herbal hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly dominated by grassy and herbal flavors from the Saaz hops, which also contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked how this pilsner seemed to be very delicate but still had nice aromas and flavors of Saaz hops. It is very easy to drink.

Can, no date:
Pours a little between gold and straw from the can. A little more straw than gold in the body, with a haze that makes the pink shadow of my finger tints the beer slightly as I go to grab it. A pillowy white to slightly off-white head isn't shy on the pour, and it crumbles away to sponginess, including some spongy blobs left upon the glass.
Nose has a nice bread note to it a mix of grain and yeast and perhaps a little hay. The malts control the nose, and about the only other note is a light indistinct fruit note - maybe something from an orchard.
Taste brings to the palate what the aroma brought to the nose - a light bread, near white but with a hint of grain, the latter perhaps baked into the crust. There's a little sweetness that makes the beer lean towards the white bread. Perhaps it's this sweetness that adds some smoothness to the beer. This feel comes at the cost of a drier, cleaner beer, however - all components I am looking for a bit more of from a Czech Pils.
Revisit: a week later my next can had a grassy hop note I didn't get much of in my original review. This was more prominent on a colder beer, oddly, but seemed to mix with the fruity aspects as the bottom of the glass warmed up. Either way, adjusted taste (and feel, since it wasn't coming across as thick) up a tad.
Another thing I am looking for is a spicy hop bitterness - and that is missing here. There is a light grassy bitterness, but the indistinct fruit note from the nose is a bit more like a red delicious apple in the taste. These balance each other in the second part of the taste to a near draw (a little fruit skin and grass edge laces the end notes).
There's some nice initial marks for this beer with the head, nose, and opening flavor, but the rest of the beer is fairly lacking in makeup. It's a bready, fairly balanced, smooth Pilsner that isn't hard to drink, but doesn't really scratch a Bohemian itch for me, mainly due to the lack of a cirsp, sipcy hop back-end. I apparently liked Anthemic considerably better.

Clear straw with low effervescence and a thin near-white head. Heavy webbed lacing. Sort of a cakey aroma with some light floral hops. A strange, intense herbal quality (sweet, dark) dominates the taste. Maybe a little mahlab? Moderately-strong grassy bitterness mixes in the aftertaste with the cherry-herb thing. Medium bodied for the style with zippy carbonation. This beer is a mess. No canned on date.

Straw to gold color with the lightest of hazes. Small but lasting head. Excellent ring lacing throughout the tasting.
Pleasant combination of clean, very pale malt and light noble hops. There's a bit of spilt beer--brewery floor in the background.
The flavor is dry, with little to no malt sweetness. This makes the hop seem more potent than it really is. The body and carbonation are as one expects from the style. The swallow is but not from hop bitterness, more from the nearly astringent malt base. Shorter aftertaste.
