Undated can into pint glass. Pours a hazy gold with a persistent off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is fairly bitter citrus rind, mango, grass, pine resin, and a n underlying dankness. Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium, but quite clean and refreshing. Finish is more of the same, fading to a pine bitterness. Overall, a quite enjoyable and quite drinkable IPA.

Picked this up a few weeks back at Cable Beverages as I hadn't had a beer from Aslin in quite some time. The previous ones that I traded for over the years were well worth it and that was the case with this too as it was oh-so-easy to drink and full of flavor from start to finish. Some say that it reminded them of Mind the Hop, which I could easily see given how fast this went down!
Nice, golden hue to this as it was cloudy, nicely bright, and topped off with plenty of frothy head. That took it's time to settle as there wasn't a lot of lacing left behind, with most of what was visible in the form of a thin ring about a third of the way down the side of my pint glass with some splotchy spots the rest of the way down. White peach, peach skin, turbid citrus, and floral notes filled the notes as exotic orange blossom dryness, deep forest, wet grass, dank herbs and hops, and a soft resin and stickiness emerged once this fully warmed up. Amazingly easy to drink given the hops and range of flavors as the malt was basic and the carbonation was recessed.
The same could be said for the booze as it was hardly noticeable, nearly making this an American Pale Ale or a New England "Pale Ale" instead of an American IPA. Loads of weed, pine, and floral herbs made this feel much stronger than it was and if I had another can here, I would have cracked it open after having this. No date on the bottom as there was just a hint of sediment that bottom of the liquid that had to be swirled out. If you like your beers understated, dank, subtly tropical, and gently slick, you've found your match here. This was on par with Aslin's other offerings and just right for these dog days (and nights) of summer!

No canned on date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy lemonade yellow with 2-fingers of white frothy head with decent retention and craggy lacing.
S: Pineapple, peach, berry, and pine with a bit of onion in the background.
T: Stronger berry with pineapple, orange, and peach with moderate intensity. Bitterness low with high fruity esters.
M: Smooth feel with soft medium body and low carbonation.
O: Delicious beer although kind of lands in the middle of the NEIPA pack for me.
