5 oz mini-snifter pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours pitch black with a nice tan head. Aroma and flavor feature dark chocolate, brandy, dark roasted malts, vanilla, coffee, and hints of berries and toasted nuts. Maybe some coconut or maple in there too. There's a lot going on, but at the same time kind of thin flavors as opposed to deep or rich. Mouthfeel is smooth and hides the 16.5% abv very well. Overall it was interesting to try, but not something I'd seek out again.

500 mL bottle from April 2020, poured into Lawson's tulip glass and allowed to warm.
ABV on bottle is 16.5%, not 12.5%
L: Beer is very dark brown. A tiny brown head on pour, but it disappears in an instant, leaving nothing but a thin raft of bubbles in the middle.
S: Not as loud as I would have expected. Faint whiff of blueberry. Nothing of coconut, which does tend to die quickly, but there is a nutty quality, along with a decent amount of vanilla.
T: Fortunately, there is lots more going on here. Sweet blueberry, made so with the maple, and a distinct nuttiness. Apple brandy and brandy barrel plays in nicely and there is a warm, boozy finish. Coconut appears to be on a ganja break.
F: Full-bodied, very light carbonation. Construction and balance are pretty good - this was a very ambitious mix of flavors. Might be better with some additional aging as flavors are a bit raw and finish is warm - hard to avoid with high ABV.
O: Ambitious effort that tastes good and mostly delivers.
