Growler into pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is juicy, juicy orange, lime, mango, and banana. Super-soft mouthfeel. Carbonation is absolutely perfect. Finish is sweet, soft and fruity, with essentially no residual bitterness. I'm a big fan of Aslin beers, and Significant Other is near the top of my list!

Had on tap at Specific Gravity.
Overall very nice NEIPA. Smooth sipper; full creamy head with fairly quick dissipation but with good lacing. Typical hazy orange/gold hue. Decent nose that reflects taste.
Taste is full of mango, banana, biscuit and citrus. Happy with dankness... Nicely present but restrained. Super smooth but still some carb sparkle. Loved it.
Glad I had on tap. Unsure can will replicate.

I've enjoyed the Aslin IPAs I've had thus far, but none of them have really impressed me enough to want more than one of each particular one. That has been a little disappointing considering their high overall ratings on this and other beer reviewing sites, so I'm hoping that Significant Other finally satisfies!
The pour here is an opaque medium-orange color with a thick collar of eggshell-white foam that laces very consistently as it slowly sinks to a retentive finger in my glass. Now THAT is a good-looking head! I'm 2-for-2 on great appearances today, or so it seems at this point. Decent legs and solid surface coverage here, too. Win.
Alright, so this features a double dry-hopping of Citra, Mosaic, and Motueka. What a fantastic combination! Up front, I instantly pick up the strong key lime overtones Motueka throws out, along with a touch of banana, peach/apricot, mango, light earthy spice, and some dank resinous character, likely from the Mosaic. There's almost a little bit of yeasty funk in here, too, but I also think that's the way Mosaic is interacting with everything else going on. Overall, this smells excellent, so I'm really excited to sip on it.
A huge wallop of tropical juiciness immediately washes over my palate, and I'm just along for the ride! Balanced flavors of lime, mango, papaya, and pineapple with a little grapefruit in there, too. Middle of the first few sips features a lightly-crackery maltiness that feels nothing like an 8% beer, though the transition to the finish carries a bit of thickness and just an ever-so-slight kick of ethanol to actually put me in my place. More mango, grapefruit, dank pine, and light spice melds with aggressive lime flavor after the moderate bitterness fades. Tangerine and passion fruit start coming out as this gets a little warmer and acclimates to room temperature. I'm just very impressed by this, and it would likely be the first Aslin beer I'd get again. Perfect combination of crushable, summery flavors and intense hopping rates with a medium body and solid, stable haze. Recommended!
