Honeymoon Pajamas is a Double IPA brewed with new, experimental New Zealand hops. We’re getting hints of lime, juicy passionfruit, lemon zest & candied melon. A creamy, smooth texture makes for a delicious DIPA that beckons you with that “come hither” hazy-orange look that none can resist.

can to snifter.

LOOK: 9/10 hazy, bright yellow color, fizzy white head, very good retention.
AROMA: peach, pineapple, little bit of soft malt. Very nice, but also weak in strength of Aroma.
TASTE: peach and pineapple, some light citrus and a hint of bubblegum. Little leafy bite in the finish. Little touch of petrol in finish that is not noticeable upfront, but as the beer becomes warmer than "fridge-cold" it rears its head. Also notice it in the aroma now that I can taste it.
FEEL: medium body, super smooth, carbonation is soft,

Really good though. Pulpy fruits are sweet and mellow.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a rocky off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature tropical/citrus notes with a surprising amount of bitterness. Fairly sweet, almost cloying. The 8.5% alcohol comes through with a vengeance. This is a bitter, boozy hop-bomb. Pouring the last few ounces down the drain now to spare my liver...

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Real opaque, not totally turbid but getting close to looking body, but with a real light lemon custard like yellow color. Classic expected bright white head, maybe even a little more yellowish than most NEIPAs, but reaching easy three finger plus height, and even more lighter bubbles in the head with lots of staying power.

Aroma is nice, but soft and subtle. Mellow sensing juiced tropical notes, slight hints of grass like herbs also. A faint touch of sweetness too. Comes out like a good NEIPA but with less power and bells and whistles on the nose.

Palate is kind of a real unexpected shock. Real nice creamy but light bodied juice character that fills the mouth just wonderfully. Mid palate goes for a light sort of sweetened mango juice that is really unique on the hop angle. There's a light body that also fills with a creamy sweetness of vanilla for balance. Aftertaste has a real rich vanilla and a faint touch of grassy bitterness for excellent contrast.

This is a real great take on NEIPA style and with a very different hop profile that is really delicious. Great stuff.
