More yellow than orange, by far, lots of sticky lace but a thin lasting cap. Smell is sweet grassy and dank. Taste is a little on the boozy and sugary side, basically a slightly less dry pseudo-sue with more booze. Reminds me of the best years of surly wet. These are not light comparisons
Alcoholic Nectar - Eject the milk sugar and/or work some rye into this then make it year-round; I'd never buy another IPA again
Milk Sugar fad needs to end

Color is hazy orange with great 2” length of foam
Scent and taste is strong tropical with mango guava and pineapple.
Slight bitterness but amazingly smooth at 9.4%.
Overall an excellent beer to look for Aislin beer company

Pours a hazy orange color, carbonation is visible. A thumbnail length frothy white head retains well.
Aromas of candied fruit, opening with notes of orange. Then, tangy tropical notes of mango, papaya, pineapple accompanied by notes of dank herbal hops.
The taste opens with the milk sugar dominating the palate, sweet and saccharine like; I don’t like this. Sweet alcohol spices pair with juicy and spicy hops; notes of mango juice, papaya, pineapple and guava along with a touch of peppery and cinnamon like flavors. Thick and chewy malt backbone, doughy and graham cracker like, is balanced by earthy and grassy bitterness. The finish is creamy, semi dry and boozy.
Full bodied with a sticky and chewy feel. Smooth and frothy like a milkshake. The carbonation is moderate with some liveliness. Definitely a sipper and a bit of a chore to get through.
Milkshake IPAs are simply not my thing. For the style I suppose it’s ok if you are in the mood for boozy, sweet, cloying and a nice buzz. (Ok...I’m kind of digging the buzz) Overall though, I will not seek this out again, and to be honest, I hadn’t realized it had lactose when I purchased it.

Pours a hazy straw color with very little head dissipating quickly to an off-white lacing. Notes of tropical fruit such as pineapple and papaya on the nose. Taste is sweet to begin with notes of mango, pineapple and caramel. The sweetness dissipates quickly to a balanced taste of hops and fruit. Another top notch and boozy (9.4) NE IPA from Aslin without the burn of the high ABV.
