L - Pitch black - motor oil - with no real head to speak of and no lacing.
S - rich, decadent dark chocolate along with hints of milk chocolate, vanilla, cream, and graham cracker - very good smelling beer.
T - follows the nose - decadent dark chocolate along with notes of milk chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Alcohol is hidden well.
F - full bodied with light carbonation. Thick, rich, decadent.
O - another fantastic dessert stout from Aslin.

Poured from the can into a teku glass.
A real big dark looking beer. Nearly back bodied, but with hints of brown, totally opaque and oil slick like coming out of the can. Head creation is a little more of a finger, kind of snappy sounding, but exceptionally dark, with real deep brown mocha color. Dissolves to the finest thin pencil collar while settling eventually. Neat looking beer, but with some characteristics that disappear quickly.
Nose is a large pantry sweet fest. Deep hits of pie graham cracker crust, mixing in every gooey treat imaginable. Thick marshmallow topping, and nougat like chocolate. Rich senses of vanilla and candy bar quality. Hits like smores, and the graham even gives off a coconut angle. With all these ingredients is a miracle this isn't a sugar bomb either on the aroma, but it's just really spectacular.
Palate manages a bit of slick and light touches, but not terribly, giving to a less than spectacular flavor and experience. Hits of slight fizz in the mouthfeel, but a rich flavor still cuts through. Nutty sensing chocolate with a gooey texture and mild vanilla to marshmallow sweetness. Luckily not a sugar bomb, but definitely high on the abv, for a real slow sipper.
Pretty good, but not that varied, and a bit too boozy for what you get.
