550ml bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours jet black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring
S- aroma gives bold brownie batter up front, with equal compliments of toffee and coconut. The adjuncts really come through on the nose. Undertones of caramel, peanut brittle, dark chocolate, burnt brownies, heavy cream. Some oaky barrel juice closes out the nose, highlighted the coconut and toffee notes
T- rich and malty up front with a immediate hit of toffee, followed by dark chocolate and brownie batter. Mid-palate brings out a creamy coconut note, as well as vanilla and marshmallow. The finish brings out peppery rye, barrel juice and wet oak. Lingers of brownie batter, toffee and coconut
M- heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a thick and creamy mouthfeel that turns chewy into a velvety, slightly warming finish
O- the coconut and toffee really come through and the chewy brownie batter of the base beer is fantastic
