Poured from a 16-oz can into pint glass in May 2022. I did not see a canned date on the label or can, but there was an undecipherable code stamped on the can. I bought this at their Herndon brewpub, and drank this less about 1 week after purchase.
Appearance: Deep gold color with huge white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion, like many IPAs. Head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass. Appearance is very similar to their 'Bringing Extra Sexy Back' IPA.
Smell: Aroma of citrus, as well as some pine, pineapple, and hops. The citrus aroma dominates the other aromas, but none is very strong.
Taste: Sweet taste with a moderate bitter hops edge. There is a typical hops and citrus flavor for an IPA, and more bitter edge than 'Bringing Extra Sexy Back'. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium body. Average alcohol, which matches the 6.0% listed on the label.
This is a good IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. I like the overall balance. This is the second beer I have tried from 'aslin beer co'. This is a good IPA, but I do prefer their 'Bringing Extra Sexy Back' better.
