We’ve given another Aslin favorite, BSB, the West Coast treatment. The original is fermented on our house yeast, which produces peach and mango esters. A double dry-hop of Mosaic drives home the notes of berries, stone fruit & orange.
Unlike its hazy predecessor, this version is clear and boasts a bit more bitterness.
Dank, resinous and fruity.

Slightly cloudy, golden in color with a small white head that fades to nice lacing. Nose seems like a pilsner, which is strange. Taste however is all on dank, pine, WC IPA! Nice bitterness across palate.

2-ish month old can poured into a tulip. I was a huge fan of the original BSB, took a long break from Aslin beers, began revisiting their mass-produced offerings this year to extremely disappointing results, but have now come upon a few of their higher quality beers. And this one is a winner.
Dank, resinous, and fruity as advertised. It’s been too long since I had the original BSB to compare hop notes, but that’s just as well because this is obviously a totally different beer. But it represents a wonderful mix of east and west, and actually reminds me quite a lot of Vermont IPAs (specifically Alchemist).
Crystal clear and quite light in coloring. Minimal head or lacing but the fluid has a wonderful velvety look.
Orange, berries, and sweet tropical fruits on the nose. Wonderful grassiness with a touch of weedy greens. Piney and pithy.
Follows closely on the tongue. Very fruity and dank and resiny and pithy. A touch of malty sweetness up front but each sip finishes with wonderful bitterness — not abrasive but lingering. Definitely has Mosaic written all over it.
Silky and soft and feels bigger than 6.4%.

Draft pour into a stem glass. Semi-clear golden earthy appearance, big off white moist head, great retention and lacing. Dank fruit, tangerine, wildflower, pine. Moderate body and carbonation.
