12 Oz Can bought locally. Dark with a tan head that dissipated quickly. aroma of roasted peanuts. Taste was super sweet chocolate and peanut butter a heavy mouthfeel. Ended malty and bitter with aftershocks of sugar. A good milk stout but not an every day drinker.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark pour, kind of thick, fizzy beige head eventually fades to a thin ring around the glass. Peanut butter hits first in the aroma, pretty strong, sweet. Taste adds enough chocolate to mellow the peanut butter, roasty malts barely detectable. Milk sugar makes for a nice slick feel. Very well balanced and very tasty.

Blak color with a medium-sized, white head. Peanut butter and milk chocolate in the aroma. Sweet, malty taste with moderate roasted bitterness at the end.

Draft pour into pint glass. Dark brown creamy appearance, foamy tan head, good retention, some lacing. Chocolate, nut, roasted coffee. Moderate to thick body, mild carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in March 2023. There was no canned date on the label or can. I drank this less than 1 week after purchasing at their Herndon brewpub.
Appearance: Dark black with very thick dark tan/brown head. The head was 2-finger thick with very large bubbles, and lasts for a few minutes and ended with a thin head. There is very little lacing sticking to the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of peanuts and chocolate as expected. The aroma was strong as soon as the can was opened. Also, some roasted malt, coffee, and a hint of sweetness from alcohol. Overall, the chocolate and peanuts dominates the others.
Taste: There is a nice balance between the sweetness from the chocolate and peanut butter, versus the roasted malts and coffee flavors. There is a little hop bitterness to add to the taste and add some complexity. There is a moderate alcohol presence, which matches the 6% on the label. Great aftertaste, which is also dominated by the chocolate and peanut butter.
Mouth-feel: Moderate, but with an extremely smooth and creamy body. Much more smooth than many other stouts. The alcohol is well-balanced and not overpowering.
This is a very good stout, and it has a variety of flavors that adds an impressive complexity to the beer. It is smooth and very enjoyable to drink. The smoothness adds to the overall enjoyment. Another great stout from Aslin and provides a nice balance to their IPAs, which I also enjoy. I will buy this again.

Pours a jet black with two fingers of foamy tan head that settles to a thin cap with some lacing. Overwhelming aroma of peanut butter and chocolate with traces of coffee and roasted malt. Taste follows nose. Very enjoyable.
