Apple brandy barrels bring forward a rich, bourbon, apple pie essence to the brew, enhancing the vanilla notes gained from the bourbon barrel. Base beer conditioned on hazelnuts.

This one pours a very dark black color, with no head or lacing.
This smells like boozy apple pie, light spicing, oak, milk chocolate, and creamy hazelnut.
This tastes extraordinarily heavy – it sits right on the line of overbearing. The apple brandy character is expressed well – with some light spicing and a slightly syrupy fruit note. The hazelnut is pretty sweet, as expected for the ingredient and the brewery using it. The bourbon barrels add some tobacco, char, and oakiness that fight really hard to try to balance this out, but ultimately fail.
This is super sweet and decadent, tasty but only in small amounts.
This is patently ridiculous but I ultimately enjoyed it.
