CROWN is a blend of Clearcut and Under Story, with an addition of Tahitian & Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Vietnamese Coffee, & Ethopian Anaerobic Sidma Honey Coffee. This coffee was chosen for it’s unique process— the pulped cherries were fermented anaerobically (without oxygen) for 10 hours, producing a consistent, complex flavor profile. The result is a big bang of character-- we’re getting milk chocolate, fluffy marshmallow, orange, smooth honey, & sugary, buttery snickerdoodle cookie.

Medium brown body with no head. Adjuncts runs the nose, so much coffee and vanilla. Taste is led by the coffee solely, has a hint of fibrous dark fruit, vanilla is next in line melding in, with a good wave of booze in the middle, barley is barely there. Feel is awash with percolation and sugar backed by very warm booze, almost grainy overall, barley again is barely felt. I am not a fan of the pastry-wine movement
