Fluffy cloudy yellow with minimal head. Aroma is golden corn, pineapple, orange, mango. Citrus hits up front but quickly is overtaken by booze. Mouthfeel is decent.
Overall some high ABV beers hide the booze well. Others use it to complement the flavors. This is like drinking liquor. No bueno

Poured a cloudy golden body with good head and lace ring down the glass. Nice aroma of citric and malts. Smooth, medium body, slight acidity and decent malt base with touch of pineapple juice finish.

Picked up a pounder can at whole foods in the squirrel Hill area fair price of 3.50 into a pint glass. First impression very carbonated I did a light to medium pour and I got about a half a glass of foam the beer itself looks like a hazy IPA dark orange Amber with a ton of floaties in the glass so definitely unfiltered. Doesn't smell too hop forward bit of mango and papaya going on with the hops quite timid. Taste is a touch strange I'm not sure what strain of hops they used but it's a bit pungent had to look it up it's apparently a English IPA so it must be having a little bit of tea leaf action along with the malt and the hops playing together. Kind of bombing every swallow of this I'm not really sure I like it too much to be honest. Like it's not busy but something about the overall flavor doesn't really click. Honestly kind of glad I only have the pounder if I had to drink like four of these I would probably like it even less. Kind of a passable English double IPA but if you're looking for something smoother and easy to drink I would definitely pass on it.
