Pours slightly cloudy. Head disapates rather quickly. Beautiful red golden color, red settles towards the bottom as it sits. Smell: fruity and sweet, blueberry forward. Mouth feel is surprisingly light for the alcohol content. Taste is delicious, very berry, fruity, sweet but tart. Great beer for someone newly venturing into sours. High alcohol content will def sneak up on you.

Hazed dark orange. Tart berry aroma and flavor. OK balance; tart > fruit. Fairly light bodied for 9.5%; definitely not a smoothie. I prefer the old Volcano Sauce when it was truly a Raspberry Smoothie Sour.

This one I feel would be a good starter sour for someone who drinks Mich Ultra for the taste. But they’ll be smacked in the face with the alcohol
Personally I’d like a little more emphasis on the flavors. I’d actually be intrigued to have this on tap too see if the flavors could outshine the carbonation.
