Inspired by bootleggers, this brew's concocted with a healthy dose of rye malt, Mt Hood, and Columbus hops. It has a rebellious spice that y'all gonna love!

16oz can, adhesive label. Bottom date stamp is 'PKGD ON 08/05/25'.
Partly cloudy, pale amber colored body. One finger of off white colored head, and this depletes to islands and a high reaching ring. Leaves behind dense lacing webs.
Aroma of citrus, caramel, spicy rye, and a hint of pine.
Taste is led by the spicy and earthy rye malt, joined by flavors of orange, grapefruit, caramel, peach, and mild pine. Spicy rye and caramel malts continue into the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth and tongue. Minor tongue sting. Good carbonation.
The rye malt certainly lends its hand in adding to the complexity and depth of the malts. Not very sweet, and more earthy.

16oz can
L: orange body with a frothy beige head that holds good retention
S: earthy pine, caramelized grain, spicy rye, citrus
T: caramel malt, spicy/earthy rye, pithy grapefruit & orange, earthy pine, apricot, nectarine
F: medium body, ample carbonation, dry and bitter finish with pine, grapefruit zest, and marijuana notes lingering
O: I love rye IPAs but this one kinda missed the mark for me, resulting in a still enjoyable yet average beer

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on December 20, 2019. Brought from the Deep South where everything is made from rye. This beer has a gentle bite from the balanced hopping and rye malt.

Served off the tap into a pint glass. Pours orange with just a hint of red, and with a fluffy white head. Smells of spicy rye grain, but not that strong. Tastes of spicy rye with piney and slight citrus hop notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.
