Look: It pours a darker than contemporary golden IPA'reaching traditional West Coast color right in the IPA color range SRM ~ 8+. It's not hazy but a little bit of cloudiness that is accounting for the protein laces in the glass

Smell : The first nose on this one is a whiff of pine,, then sweet pineapple, And then fruit loops... Which is orange peel citrus... I poured it into glass and the aroma really blooms... There are some quiet special aromas here...

Taste: yep West Coast... But with a unique bouquet... That takes you away from the SN tradition offen associated with West Coast... think it's probably warrior hops that providing the structure here .. That's providing that pine resin an proper bittering taste...The citra in Amarillo are chiming in In a way that layers better than an everyday beer... It's helpful to detect the hop flavors in their other RaG beers for analyzing this one...

Taste: this is lovely... The first sip... when that first bitter hits... Is a little shocked to the palate, but next thing you know it's getting going... then you're off to the races... It's not overly sweet but there is inherent sweetness and aroma that's just... (Yeah I don't know what to say)... And the structure of the everyday warrior brings that bitter... Okay everyday warrior is marketing it's better than an everyday beer... And I think that's by design... And with that bitter note the brain tries to erase it with yet another sip... That's magical and frankly that's probably trouble... @ 6.3% ABV... I need to save this for the weekends

I got a tall boy can of this beer off the single shelf from the Festival grocery store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bitter pineapple and tangerine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt that slightly offset the bitter pineapple and orange presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12oz can
L: somewhat hazy light caramel colored IPA capped by an overflowing frothy ivory head; thick chunks of foam stick to the glass
S: muted aroma of pine and citrus with some caramelized grain
T: bolder flavors with notes of pungent pine, grapefruit & orange zest, bread crust, caramel malt
F: medium body, very resinous, moderate carbonation, pungently bitter finish with pine lingering along with some mild grainy sweetness
O: a solid old school IPA using some of my favorite hops

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and slight piney hops, very inviting. Tastes of citrus and slight notes of pine, with decent grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Everyday Warrior pours a copper color, with a small head. Dry hoppy aroma. Flavor is grainy, but has a nice hop and nice dry finish. Good body and feel. Overall, a very decent drier IPA.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Raised Grain Brewing Company on December 22, 2018. A west coast style IPA brewed with Warrior, Citra and Amarillo hops.
