Thanks Jessica.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy chill hazed copper color with a fairly quick falling off little white foamy head. Some concave lace.
The aroma had some orange pulpy juiciness with an ever slight tone of wax coming in and blending with some sweet grass and a dry juicy extra citrusy rind-bitterness content.
The flavor tried to mix together the orange juicy pulp to some extra rind-bitterness but for the most part this beer stays mostly juicy sweet all of the way through. Quick aftertaste of orange juice with some rind-bitterness.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under with a good sessionability about it despite being an imperial IPA. I could really slam this one if I wanted to. Carbonation felt good - somewhat low like a New England styled one. Slight stickiness came about. Slight juicy finish, and slightly sticky.
Overall, so many New England styled IPA's and DIPA's out there these days, I am grateful to have tried this one but don't see myself coming back to.
