Beige head but it settles completely to no bubbles. No lace. Dark brown where light passes only along the edges.
Semisweet chocolate aroma. There's a light alcohol presence to the nose.
I get some coconut up front (like an Mounds chocolate bar) along with semisweet chocolate. Subtle vanilla. There's some nice warmth. I couldn't tease out any of the maple syrup as advertised. There's sweet to bitter finish and a moderate aftertaste.
