Bought from Drankcenter in Waremgem. Although I do remember getting other Legendes ales in Chicagoland. I'm also glad I revisited their website. It has improved considerably since a few years ago. They have acquired at least one other brewery and seem to do some contract brewing. And they brag about their wholistic sustainability as a family brewery. All good and helps explain the very good Overall Hugs from me.
Goliath is a blond, but the foam could last longer. Smells mostly of malt and some citrus. Tastes are balanced and yeasty, particularly since it is refermented in the bottle. Medium-mouthed and soft. Decent pairing with my world-famous veggie stew. A Sante' !

Pours a hazy golden color with a medium top off white head that dissolves quickly.
Aroma is of citrus, pineapples, corriander, honey and floral hops.
The taste start of sweet and fruity with some slight malty caramel notes in the back. It then gets more spicy and yeasty feel in the flavour before it finishes off with some slight bitter floral notes. Aftertaste is a little weak and the a little watery flavour.
Crisp and smooth mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a light body.
It,s refreshing and easy drinking, beside from that is nothing very exiting about it.
