This farmhouse style Saison is a nice balance of citrus and pepper. Not too funky and not too tart.

On tap at brewery. Light, oily and slick. Sweet, flowery aroma and taste. Right in the ball park for the style. These guys seems to have a good handle on the Belgian styles.

Draft from the brewery... Pours a pretty standard looking lightly hazed golden with a foamy white head that dies back pretty fast... Nose has a good balance between the peppery phenols and sorta apple/pear esters... Flavor begins with the fruity esters that seem to be accentuated by the background maltiness... a little white peppercorn on the finish... and still finishes pretty dry. Body seems a touch thick for a saison, but maybe not so much for pushing 7%... I just personally prefer saisons to be not quite so heavy. Not bad at all.... Another winner.
