Draft at GC location. Bright, golden pour, thin white head, active carbonation. Grainy, bready aroma. Taste is fresh bread, grainy, biscuity. Fairly heavy feel.

crispy and clean, a simple light lager, seems adjunct free despite the way they brand it, looks, tastes, and feels like an all malt brew, nothing really cheap about this, its just tidy and well made beer flavor beer, and i think overall the barbarian lager game has been on point this summer. ive been over there three times in recent weeks and all the lagers are killer. nice golden color to this, good and clear with fast carbonation and an inch of white head with surprisingly good retention. it smells minimal, pale barley malt with light herbal hops, faint sweetness to me, a light clover flower note, crackery, faintly european, which is basically how the taste is too, some lightly spicy hops on the back end, very minimal if not totally neutral lager yeast, and mostly driven by simple pale malt and good water chemistry. not quite enough here overall to get too excited about, its just a beer, but its tasty and clean and really professionally done, light to drink but not soulless, and i think in this heat we have been having here, its a great refresher and volume drinker. if they packaged this it would do really well here. tons of new stuff at barbarian lately!
