Single 16 ounce can purchased from the brewery.
Pours a beautiful clear deep copper/amber with 3 fingers of creamy light tan/cream coloured head.
Aroma spicy rye, malty, a bit of caramel, Belgian yeast, slightly fruity, peppery with earthy/herbal hops.
Taste follows with sweetly spicy rye malt. Bready, peppery; Belgian yeast, a little bit of earthy funky bitterness at the back - the early sweetness washed away.
Medium mouthfeel - moderate carbonation - earthy spicy bitterness lingers briefly.

Appearance - Pours an amber copper with three fingers of frothy tan head.

Smell - belgian yeast, peppery aromas, juniper, spicy earthy and leafy hops, and bready and biscuity malts.

Taste - belgian yeast upfront. The pepperiness, and juniper follow suit. The brew is finished off with the spicy earthy and leafy hops and duo of the bready and biscuity malts.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes off dry with the yeast, juniper, and malts lingering.

Overall - A pleasant brew from Blindman. They captured a bit of the traditional Belgian saison style but it branches off into the juniper and pepperiness. This is an interesting brew that is worth a try.
