Home. Wherever it is, wherever it was. It means something. For this one, we're bringing together all the bounty of our home. Everything came from an area of 5 miles as the crow flies. We've got malt barley from 24-2 farm, and hops from the Hop to It hopyard. We used it to make something that speaks to it all, something that wouldn't have seemed out of place a few hundred years ago on a farm in Belgium - a rustic saison.
Dwayne Martineau took his best bud, Harriet, and explored some swimming holes for this one. Some by his childhood home and some by his current home. Filmed through a pinhole camera and reproduced onto 1500 individual labels, to remind you of hazy summertimes of his, and maybe your, youth.

Initially had 4 oz taster at brewery - split 500 ml bottle purchased then.
Essentially clear golden yellow pour with half finger of tight bubbly white head.
Funky and fruity nose - lemony, juicy fruit gum - a bit spicy and floral with earthy aroma.
Palate follows with that lemony, fruity, and funky sweetness that gives way to a bright tartness with a acetic acid note.
Bright and sharp medium mouthfeel with brisk tingling carbonation - the acidic fruity-floral sweet tart builds and though enjoyed, think I enjoyed 4 ounces more than 8....
