a very enjoyable glass of beer here, and one of the more unique ones i have had from these guys. its a really intriguing blonde ale, fermented with brett and hopped up nicely with sorachi ace, one of the most curious and dynamic varietals in the game, known for notes of fresh dill, lemon curd, and oily slickness, all of which are present to me in the aroma and flavor of this one. clearish for what it is, short white head and not quite enough carbonation to make it pop, but an awesome light brett character here thats not crazy mature, but it doesnt need to be with all the hops on this doing the majority of the heavy lifting. cool floral character and freshness in the flavor, i could pick these hops out anywhere too. some light funk, some obvious sweetness still here, a pretty hearty and robust blonde as a base, honey notes nice with the herbal elements in the hops, well developed flavors, but to me this is begging for a new york state white wine barrel! some nice oak and wine tannins and a bit more dryness and brett maturity and you really have something here! the first brett beer i can recall from these guys...
