Had on tap at the brewery.
Appearance: Black with a red tinge around the edges, tan cap with very good lacing.
Aroma: mild hops over roasted malt. A hard to describe malt sweetness beneath layers of coffee and roasted malt.
Taste: bitter roast malt, bitter coffee yet there's a malt richness going on as well.
Texture: Full and maybe even slightly fuller than full.
Overall: Roasty, burnt toasty, expresso yet with an underlying rich malt core.
